Griffin's Furniture and Floor Covering was founded in May of 1967 by Al, Margaret, and son, Marlin Griffin. Starting at Five Mile Shopping Center in Spokane, Washington, Al and Margaret purchased a store in beautiful downtown Newport, Washington in November of 1971 from the Henleys, who also retailed furniture. In July of 1977 Al and Margaret closed the Five Mile location and their son, Marlin Griffin, purchased the Newport store which he presently runs. The Newport building has been marked as a Pend Orielle County Historical Site. In April of 1988 Marlin Griffin and Maureen Wood opened a branch in Deer Park. Griffin’s Furniture and Floor Covering is celebrating 20 years in Deer Park, Washington.

Currently Griffin's have two warehouse buildings in Newport to hold our vast selection of furniture and floor coverings. If you can't find it in one of our locations, chances are we can get it through one of our several vendors. Griffin’s offers a complete line of quality home furnishings and floor coverings where delivery and installation is at an agreeable savings to each customer.
